Ashley DeBeyer
Indigenous Engagement Specialist
Ashley’s professional background in Indigenous engagement spans community, government, and industry contexts, with a specialization in the defence sector. Guided by Etuaptmumk (Two-Eyed Seeing), she bridges Western frameworks and Indigenous Knowledges to support culturally grounded decision-making and practices.
Ashley’s OCAP® certification reflects her commitment to ethical management of Indigenous Knowledges, and guides engagement that centers respect, consent and community priorities.
Ashley works to support complex, multi-stakeholder projects, facilitate engagement, and support Indigenous Benefit Plans (IBP) and Indigenous Participation Plans, while ensuring Indigenous perspectives remain central to decision-making. Ashley brings a culturally respectful, collaborative approach to engagement and project delivery.
