Howard Steinberg

Senior Researcher and Engagement Specialist

Howard is a social science researcher and educator with over 15 years of experience in qualitative research, Indigenous community engagement, and academic instruction. As a researcher and consultant, Howard has conducted stakeholder interviews and community engagement sessions with First Nations communities, supporting environmental assessments, impact statements, and Memoranda of Agreement. His research has directly informed reports for First Nations communities and organizations across Canada.

Alongside his consulting work, Howard teaches communication and academic writing at the post-secondary level, designing accessible content on a variety of Learning Management Systems. He holds a Master of Arts in Public Issues Anthropology from the University of Guelph and is a PhD Candidate in Social and Political Thought at York University. He is passionate about bridging rigorous research with meaningful, people-centred engagement.
