Meet the ICE Team

Amasha Gamage is a student at the University of Guelph, studying Indigenous Environmental Science & Practice with a minor in Applied Geomatics. Amasha’s studies focus on braiding Western science with Indigenous worldviews (Two-Eyed Seeing) to apply a holistic approach to environmental conservation and stewardship.

Amasha has worked for several years in the Indigenous engagement sector, including her work as an Indigenous Relations co-op student at Ontario Power Generation.
