ICE is powered by a dynamic blend of Indigenous and ally professionals, each bringing extensive experience in their respective fields. From community engagement specialists to economic development experts, our interdisciplinary team is united by a shared commitment to Indigenous prosperity.

Mission.

We ground our work in the United Nations Declarations on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), the Truth and Reconciliation recommendations, the UNDRIP Action Plan, and other important recommendations coming from the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls inquiry and more.

Our team members are also trained in the First Nations principles of ownership, control, access, and possession (OCAP) and in Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+). This training provides our team with the necessary tools to engage meaningfully and respectfully with diverse groups.
